Marion’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Marion and my mom, Helen V. Shear, were first cousins. She was a bridesmaid in my mom's wedding. We all shared wonderful memories of Turock family gatherings especially on Pentecost Sunday at St. Cyril's cemetery. Although we were there remembering our deceased loved ones on that special day, we always looked forward to renewing our family ties as we all came together each year. Warm, wonderful memories to keep in our hearts.
Marion and Mike visited our home when we lived in Allentown, PA and we had many enjoyable telephone conversations reminiscing about family when she moved to Myrtle Beach and we moved to Arizona.
Vichnaya Pamya't Marion, as you rejoin your beloved Mike.

I am so sorry to read of the passing of Marion... Whenever her church made those delicious pierogies, Marion always saved me a few dozen. Since I could never get away from our restaurant, she would deliver them to me, fresh and always a treat. Marion was a very sweet and caring women, and she will be missed RIP

So sorry to hear about Marion's passing. A few years ago when I was researching the Dundaff Street branch of the Dickson City Turocks for posterity, I got to know Marion a bit through the wonder of the Internet. I'm unsure if we ever met personally but whenever we "spoke", she was always friendly and very willing to share whatever family information she possessed. BTW, we live in Johnson City, NY near Frank, Ilene, Nick and Mary Turock (all deceased).
RIP, Marion
